Have you recently looked at how you can better use technology in your business?
Yes - we have recently reviewed the technology available today and how this might develop in the future. We will be taking action to implement new systems in the next 6 months.
Not yet - However we are aware of how new technology might apply to our business.
No - not all. I haven't had the time to even begin to think about this.

What is your usual response to new, disruptive technologies when they change your industry?
Wow - I've got to get us some of that!
That sounds too good to be true - we will have to do some investigating as this could change everything.
That won't work! They clearly don't understand how OUR industry really works...

Have you considered how you can turn products into future services and services into future products?
Yes - we have a strong product and service development programme within our business. It's constant innovation here.
Yes - we have considered several product and service development options but we just haven't actually implemented them yet.
No - what a great idea though. I can see this is a clear missed revenue opportunity - something we need to work on right now!

Do you spend time thinking "what must I do to get customers to want to belong to my community/tribe?"
Yes - we are very proactive on social media and do our best to bring customers with us on the journey. We love the community we have created. They really are our Tribe!
We use social media to try to engage with customers but to be honest it doesn't seem to really work for us... I expect there is much more we could be doing to achieve better results.
We don't have a community space for our customers to join in and share. We haven't really embraced social media and probably need a bit of help with this in the future.

Have you thought about how changes in lifestyle or cultural values might transform your industry? e.g. What are the next generation looking for ?
We think about this constantly. As part of knowing who our ideal customer is, we are looking to see how their needs will evolve in the future.
It is very hard to predict what the next generation want from our industry so we haven't really looked at it yet.
Hopefully nothing will change... we like things exactly as they are.

How well do you balance the trade-off between investing in your current products vs. investing in your future industry?
It isn't easy but we always try to plan for both long term and short term investments in our business.
To be honest just investing in getting current product or services delivered is the most important things for us right now.

Have you recently considered who might be your future potential partners within your industry?
Yes - definitely. We have a clear view of the key people we need to partner with in the future and have already started planning an approach.
We know that partnering with other businesses will be important in the future but haven't got a plan or definite idea on who and what we might partner together on.
Crikey - we haven't even looked at this at all.
